What we do

Five objectives that reinforce one another.

To strengthen community resilience and improve the knowledge and socio-economic wellbeing of vulnerable populations — especially women, children and displaced communities — through integrated, sustainable and locally driven interventions.

How it fits together

Peace makes schooling possible. Schooling makes livelihoods possible. Livelihoods make peace durable.

The five objectives are not a menu. Each one depends on the others holding, which is why IPI does not deliver them in isolation.

Objective 02

Education Access & Quality

A girl who stays in school is the single most reliable predictor of what a community looks like in ten years.

Objective 05

Institutional Capacity & Sustainability

Being trusted with larger funding is earned through systems, not intentions.

Objective

To operate as a credible, accountable and sustainable national NGO capable of delivering at scale.

Key interventions

  • Strengthening governance systems — Board functionality, policies and compliance
  • Developing core policies: finance, HR, safeguarding, gender and MEL
  • Staff capacity building in project management, reporting and donor compliance
  • Active participation in coordination mechanisms and clusters (FSL, Education, Health, Nutrition, Protection)
  • Resource mobilisation through proposals, partnerships and consortium arrangements

Expected outcomes

  • A credible, accountable and sustainable national NGO
  • Readiness for medium-to-large scale funding opportunities

Delivery

What those objectives look like as live projects.

Three projects currently running, each combining more than one strategic objective — because the problems they address do not arrive separately.
